I always thought getting music for tabletop RPGs was easy already, but what the heck.

Sorry, to clarify, I was more talking about the process of changing the music from one mood to another (especially for unplanned turns in campaigns). One of the main reasons I started the project is because in my sessions a lot of time could be wasted searching for the right track every time the mood/location changed.

For us musicians, there is always the process of filtering down location themes to a select few before starting a game. I dunno, I found it easier. That, or make my own and include it in the selection because I cannae stroke me own ego when others' tastes differ...

Everyone has their own process, if you prefer to find your own tracks, go for it! These tracks will all be available on YouTube, etc. So if there's any you like, feel free to add them to your setup! But I and many of the DMs I know spend enough time preparing the content for the session, let alone the music, and more often than not the campaign ends up off track and you end up having to go hunting for stuff you didn't have prepared anyway. The point of the project is to reduce that search to the click of a button. Might not always be the "perfect track" but ideally it'll save time and get things moving sooner for those who don't want to hold things up. :)
